Powder Coating

Powder Coat Road Armor Bumper

Powder coating is a great alternative to paint. It is applied by a positively charged gun and is attracted to a grounded or negatively charged part. The part is then baked in an oven for approximately 10-15 minutes at 400 degrees F until fully cured. After cooling down the part is immediately ready to be used without waiting days for dry times like painted parts.

Powder coating is relatively similar in price to traditionally painted products but there are so many reasons to use powder. Powder coating is far more durable than paint and it fades less too. It's also more flexible and chip resistant which makes it great in places that are exposed to the elements. One other fact is that it uses no wet chemicals or harmful VOC's. This makes powder coating the Green way to coat your next project!

CerakoteTM High Temperature Coatings are designed to improve the performance of exhaust systems. These coatings prevent corrosion, increase durability and provide thermal insulation. CerakoteTM exhaust coatings are available in a variety of colors and finishes ranging from semi-gloss Black Velvet to high gloss Stoplight Red. A line of Satin Metallic finishes are also available. All of these products can withstand temperatures in excess of 1200°F and select coatings can withstand temperatures higher than 1600°F.
